Kenridge Primary School
Drumkit

The best age for a child to take up Drumkit is 12 years old. Learning drumming helps to develop co-ordination between hands and feet. In later life a growing child finds it a lot easier learning to drive a car because he or she has enough co-ordination skills. To play drums well is to make a drumkit sound like a musical instrument. This takes many hours of practice and discipline.
