Guitar is an informal and popular instrument. Learning the guitar helps with co-ordination and our aim includes the musical development of our students, as well as the fun and enjoyment of making and sharing music.
Various aspects of technique are covered, as well as theory and aural training. What makes guitar lessons such fun is the fact that a wide variety of light music repertoire is taught, from Koos du Plessis, to the Beatles to Coldplay.
Participation in the Eisteddfod and our annual concert is strongly recommended.
Learners from grade 3-7 can take guitar as an instrument. Lessons are 25 minutes (once a week).
