Kenridge Primary School
Riverdance

A little about what I teach and do. Irish dancing better known as Riverdance named after the show "Riverdance" is available at Kenridge Primary School every Friday afternoon and on Tuesday evenings. Starting from beginners to senior students we are active in all Irish competitions held in South Africa, as well as Eisteddfods and Festivals in and around Cape Town.

Why Irish Dancing?? Well over and above it being a very good form of exercise and enjoyment, the students get the opportunity to perform and enjoy the creative and innovative dance form that is sweeping the world of show business.

It is extremely good for your child to be involved in this dance form, as it works on the well held posture and abdominal structure of the body, as well as being able to work on two different dance structures.
