Speech and Creative Drama

Creative drama: It is important in a child's development that their imagination and creativity are nurtured to help them reach their full potential in life. Creative Drama stimulates the imagination through story telling, games, role play and problem solving. It builds confidence and life skills and teaches them to think out of the box. Many of the exercises are from tried and true ideas that I have developed over years of teaching speech and drama.

Speech: Through speech exercises, poems and prose children are taught to speak with confidence in a clear, articulate manner which helps them with orals and public speaking and also enhances their ability to think on their feet.

GAIL PETERSEN is a senior member of the Speech and Drama College of S A. Gail also offers classes in Voice, Communication and Public speaking to Grade 7 learners.
